Product introduction:

OPGW optical cable uses the difference in refractive index between the core and cladding materials to transmit light energy in the optical fiber. This has become a major revolution in the history of communications. Optical fiber cables are light in weight and small in size, and have been adopted by power systems to transmit information such as dispatch telephone calls, telecontrol signals, relay protection, and television images between substations and central dispatch offices. In order to improve the stability and reliability of optical fiber cables, foreign countries have developed a structure that combines optical cables with phase conductors of transmission lines, overhead ground wires, and power cables. Because the OPGW optical cable is wrapped with metal wires, the optical cable is more reliable, stable, and strong. Since the overhead ground wire and the optical cable are combined into one, compared with other methods of optical cables, the construction period is shortened and the construction cost is saved.
